January 3rd – College Night – Tonight many of the old youth group members are going to be hosting youth group for everyone. Don’t miss out as they run everything from prayer, our topic, and the games that we will play tonight.
January 10th – Worship Night – What better to start off the new year then with a worship night. Join us for a night of music, prayer, and Humdinger for our game.
January 14th (Saturday 7:30pm – 9:30pm) – Broom Hockey – Join us down at Centennial Ice Arena for a night of ice skating and broom hockey. We will be playing broom hockey from 7:30 – 8:30 and then skating from 8:30pm – 9:30pm . Everyone needs to bring $5, a broom, and invite all of your friends!
January 17th – App. Night – This week we will take a look at all the amazing apps and websites that can help our faith. We will be playing human foosball for our game!
January 24th – Devotions/Spiritual Readings Night – Tonight we will be working on a Devotions Book for the church. Please bring Bible verses, quotes, and other spiritual books and we will be writing reflections on these passages to make into a book. Our game for the night will be human bowling.
January 31st – Care Packages – Come join us as we spend a night in the kitchen making care packages for some different parishioners in our parish. We will also be having a huge spoons tournament for our game this week.
February 7th – God’s Plan – Don’t miss this week as we explore what God is calling us to be. We will be playing crab soccer for our game for the night.
February 14th – Dating and Relationships – This week we will be talking about dating and relationships. Our game for the week will be Taboo, One Word, and Charades.
February 21st – Movie and Games Night – Tonight we will be showing a movie and the youth room will be open for many games. Come for a fun night before the start of Lent.
February 26th (Sunday 6:30am – 6:00pm) – Ski Trip – Don’t miss out on our annual trip to Red Lodge for a great day of skiing and snowboarding. Get your forms in soon as this trip normally fills up fast.
February 28th – Sin and Forgiveness – Tonight we will be talking about sin and forgiveness and playing dodgeball for our game.
March 6th – Silence – Come experience a really different but amazing night on silence. This night will be an eye opener to a very important aspect of prayer. We will be playing telephone charades for our game.
March 13th (6:30pm – 9:00pm) – Bowling – This week we will be meeting early and heading down to bowling alley for a night of bowling. Everyone needs to bring $5 for games and extra money if you want to buy food.
March 20th – Prayer Stations – Tonight we will experience and teach everyone many different types of prayer and ways to connect to God. We will also be playing strobe light balloon volleyball as a game.
March 27th – Worship Night – Join us for a night of relaxation, prayer, and music. Our game for the night will be Name That Tune.
April 3rd – Faith on Trial – This is going to be an interesting night as we look to see if there would be enough evidence to convict us as Christians. We will also be having a huge game of Quidditch as our game.
April 10th – Current Events – Come join us as we discuss the many different things happening with our faith and in the world today. We will be playing plunger jousting for our game.
April 17th – Heaven and Hell – This week we will be looking at what the Church says about heaven, hell, and purgatory. Our game for the night will be a giant game of Bandu.
April 24th - God the Father – Tonight we will be exploring who God is to you. We will be playing many different versions of Rock, Paper, Scissors for our game.
May 1st – Senior Night – The graduating seniors will be leading this week as they share with us their faith stories, prayers, and games.
May 8th – Guinness Book of World Records – This is always a youth group favorite as we talk about what it takes to be great in our faith and attempt to break some world records.
May 15th – Open Mic Night – Come share your talents as we have an open mic night with many different skits, songs, and other acts. We will also be having a huge game of capture the flag.
May 18th (Friday 8:00pm – Saturday 8:00am) – Lock-in – Join us for a night of movies, games, food, and very little sleep! Everyone needs to bring $5 and a snack to share with the whole group. If you are going to be late or have to leave early you must let Brian know beforehand.
May 22nd – End of the Year Party – This week we will be having our end of the year party! We will have food and plenty of games – including Happy Fun Ball!
