Junior High Youth Group
Tuesdays 7:00 – 8:30pm
Mission:
The goal of the youth groups is to provide the youth of the parish a fun faith-filled environment that will help each person grow in their relationship with God. We meet every week, year round in the youth room and focus in on the areas of catechesis, spirituality, social justice, and building community. We also offer many retreat opportunities and social activities to keep the youth busy such as Search, Legendary Lodge, Bible study, worship nights, book club, ski trips, broom hockey, rafting, folf, camping, caving, lock-ins, and much much more! Junior High Schedule
December 29th (7:00pm – 11:00pm) – Movie and Game Night – Stop on by for a night of movies, games, and food!
January 5th – College Night – Some of the graduating youth from last year will be putting on a night on what has helped their faith life since high school!
January 12th – Finding God – Tonight we will be looking at finding God in our lives. We will be playing plunger jousting for our game!
January 19th – Pass the Pigs Tournament – Join us for a fun night where we will be having a huge 
Pass the Pigs tournament with tons of prizes!
January 26th – Bible – This week we will be taking a deeper look into Scripture and why the Bible is so important to our faith. Our game for the night will be speed ball!
February 2nd – Worship Night – Come for a relaxing night of song and prayer. Even our game will be musical as we will play humdinger!
February 9th – Dating and Relationships – Tonight we will be looking at making God a part of dating and our relationships. We will be playing men verse women killer shake!
February 16th – Lent – This week we will be talking about Lent and playing some box ball.
February 23rd – Forgiveness – As we start off the Lenten season we will have a night on forgiveness. Our game for the night will be a huge game of dodgeball.
February 28th (Sunday 6:30am – 6:00pm) – Ski/Snowboarding Trip – This Sunday we will be taking our annual ski/snowboarding trip to Red Lodge Mountain. The cost is $40 and we will be taking the first 55 people to sign up so get your forms in right away.
March 2nd – Names of Jesus – During Lent we will be taking a look at who Jesus is and was for us. Tonight we will take a special look into the names of Jesus and what these mean to us today. We will be playing taboo, one word, and charades for our game this week.
March 5th (Friday 6:00pm – 10:00pm) – Soup and Stations – The youth group will be hosting soup and Stations of the Cross for the church tonight. Afterwards we will be having a movie and game
night until 10:00pm.
March 9th – Icons – We will be having Jeremy Schwager come in tonight to talk about the meaning and importance of icons. We will also be making our own icon tonight!
March 16th – Pro Life Night – This week we will be talking about why the Church believes and supports the Pro Life movement. Our game for the night will be balloon stomp.
March 23rd – God’s Love – As Easter approaches we will talk about how much God really loves us. We will be playing human knots for our game!
March 30th (7:00pm – 11:00pm) – Movie and Game Night – Stop on by for a night of movies, games, and food!
April 6th – Doubt Night – Come this week with any questions or doubts that you may have with God or out faith as we have a night of doubt and hopefully some answers. Our game for the week will be hungry hungry hippos!
April 13th – Fun Night – More to come on this later!
April 20th – Liturgy of the Hours – Tonight we will be looking at prayer and how the Liturgy of the Hours can really improve our prayer life. We will be playing pyramids for our game this week!
April 27th – Current Events – We will be looking at some of the news that is happening in our faith and world. We will also be playing a game of human foosball this night.
May 4th – Senior Night – Come support your graduating seniors as the seniors will be hosting 
everything for youth group this week!
May 7th (Friday 8:00pm- Saturday 8:00am) – Lock-in – Come join us for a night of games, movies, and very little sleep as we will be having a junior high lock-in! Everyone needs to be here between 7:45pm – 8:00pm. Please don’t come early and if you are planning on coming late or can’t stay the whole night let Brian know beforehand. We ask that everyone bring $5 and some sort of snack to share with the group. Pickup will be at 8:00am the next morning.
May 11th – Worship Night – This week we will be having a worship night and playing Encore as our game.
May 18th – Guinness Book of World Records – Check out this youth group favorite as we try to break some world records and see the strengths that God has blessed us with.
May 25th – End of the Year Party – Come for a BBQ, some Happy Fun Ball, and a night of hanging out with your friends!
