| R.C.I.A. Right of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which we bring adults into the Catholic faith. Here at St. Bernard’s, we hold our sessions on Sunday evenings to break open the Word of God and learn about the doctrine, traditions, and precepts of our faith that come from the readings of that particular week. The sessions include prayer, discussion in small groups and various teaching forms and materials, all centered on the lectionary. After a period of inquiry, those who wish to join the Church celebrate several Rites. They include a Rite of Welcome, Rite of Enrollment and Election, three Scrutinies (prayers of the community over the candidates) and celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil. For more information call the parish office, (406) 259-4350 or via email. Adult Bible Study Every Wednesday we gather in the parish hall at 7:00 p.m. to learn about the
Holy Scriptures. |
