Minutes of
Saint Bernard's Parish Council Meeting
April 15, 2003

Father Dave opened with a prayer reflecting Holy Week.

A videoconference to see about a 12 percent tax in addition to the Care and Share ‑ the presentation was given to the priest conference in Lewistown. The Bishop has requested that a representative from each parish finance council and parish council to attend a meeting on April 30th to review the finances and expenses of the diocese. No one volunteered at the meeting. The Care & Share is at the halfway point so far.

A parishioner has offered to buy a van for transporting people that would be wheelchair accessible.

The computer system presentation was made to the Parish Staff by those who have been working on it, and they are putting a package together.

Corrine Glen said the Council of Catholic Women (CCW) was going to have a night in honor of those in service. Request for a Blue Star Flag went well ‑ tradition dating back to the 1st and 2nd World Wars. Rimrock Mall was willing to set up a display in the center court, which will include pictures. The VFW donating phone cards to mail to the troops as part of Operation Uplink. The Billings Gazette had a good coverage of Saint Bernard's & CCW. (Just give VFW a call and they will supply a card. The Meeting was also shown on the News TV stations.

Art Mulkey and Kevin Holland gave a presentation on the trip to Haiti with photos.

Meeting was then adjourned until May 20th.
